Research

Research can contribute effectiveness of field intervention. In order to bring fruitful field intervention Vincentian Service Society Centre for Rural development and its member institutions have initiated various researches on mental health, migration, displacement, social capital etc. Apart from this field based research studies are undertaken by Vincentian Service Society Centre for Rural development and its member institutions as per the request of the external agencies and individuals. Research initiatives, especially on action research have been undertaken in association with international universities like James Cook University, Australia. Need assessment, feasibility study, evaluation of projects and programmes etc are some of the initiatives of the Vincentian Service Society Centre for Rural development and its member institutions.

Malayalam Book:

The book deals with adolescence and changes in the life. The book serve as guideline to boys and girls to manage their physical and mental health issues, especially sexual health and hygiene. The book is also a resource manual to social work trainees to deal with adolescents and old age problems in the present world. You may kindly support our service delivery either in terms of service or financial assistance. Most of our institutions requires assistance of resources-man, money and materials since they are managed with the contribution of the well wishers and benefactors.

Volunteers and interns

Volunteers and interns of national or international are invited to render their service voluntarily or work as interns under the guidance of qualified supervisors for a long term or short term periods. Those who are interested may contact the director either by mail or phone.
